It’s all about butter!
I’m glad you stopped by to learn more about our brand of plant-based butter that tastes great, has some of the best good-for-you ingredients and actually helps the support the planet.
Great Taste
Great taste is the perfect reason to substitute Melt plant-based products in all your uses for butter, margarine, and oils. With just a hint of coconut, Melt’s rich and creamy recipe spreads easily, gently pampers everything you cook and, makes all your baking recipes even better.
But most of all, Melt products clearly fit into a lifestyle that aligns with your choices for leading a healthy life and protecting the planet.
Better Ingredients
So, if you were going to create a butter that was good for you, what kind of ingredients would you use? I started with the premise that you should feel a difference after using our products, and all products should be Organic. With that certification, they would all be GMO-Free. But I didn’t stop there. Because of my own journey in recovering my health, I decided that our products should help those with food allergies and be Dairy Free, Soy Free, and Nut Free.
And the most important “better ingredient” is Virgin Coconut Oil — the best fat your body needs, especially combined with flaxseed oil. Melt is half the saturated fat of dairy butter and delivers the optimal balance of Omega 6’s to Omega 3’s. And finally, we are very proud to claim that all ingredients sourced from the Third World (e.g., Virgin Coconut Oil, Palm Fruit Oil) are certified Fair Trade so we know your dollars used to buy Melt help build healthy communities and protect the environment.
Environmental Responsibility
Being an environmental steward is not a fad for Melt — taking responsibility for the impact of our products on the environment is my mantra for doing business. This is an evolving journey where we strive to help impoverished communities prosper through Fair Trade practices. We source ingredients that support sustainable farming practices that don’t rely on GMO technology, pesticides, and fungicides. And I knew that if I wanted to create a great product I would need to use only plant-based ingredients to reduce carbon emissions from animals. Taking responsibility for environmental stewardship should be the norm in the food industry, and even though it’s not, it is with Melt.
Yes, this is me, Cygnia Rapp. I’m the founder of Melt Organics.
They say, “necessity is the mother of invention” and for me, necessity was being placed on a restrictive diet (no wheat, red meat, hard cheese, butter, peanut butter, and more) to help resolve my health issues. I researched everything I could about fats and oils —uncovering a wealth of little-known information that not all saturated fats were bad. I discovered that a body needs a combination of healthful saturated, polyunsaturated, and monounsaturated fats to maintain vitality.
Now in my 40s, I am healthier, more fit, and happier than ever — enjoying an active lifestyle of Nordic skiing, mountain biking, and hiking in the mountains with my friends, family, and my Alaskan Malamute.
